Davit Narmania

Davit Narmania is an economist, PhD in Economics, and Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He has extensive experience in public administration and regulatory affairs, having served as Chairman (2019–present) and Commissioner (2017–2019) of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC). Previously, he was the Mayor of Tbilisi (2014–2017) and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (2012–2014). Earlier in his career, he was Executive Director of the Caucasian Institute for Economic and Social Research (2009–2012).
