Since 2019, Katie Sieben has served as the Chair of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. Currently serving as Second Vice President of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), she helps shape policies and discussion around energy issues including the buildout of increasingly clean and resilient energy systems. Prior to joining the Commission, Sieben worked in the US Senate and then served for 14 years in the Minnesota legislature. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
