Neva Espinoza is Chief Technology Officer at EPRI. In this role, she leads the institute’s Office of Technology and Transformation – shaping an integrated, enterprise-level function spanning AI, digital strategy, technology, and innovation as data center-related energy demand drives the most significant energy transformation in a generation. Her responsibilities include shaping a unified portfolio spanning AI transformation, Information Technology, Information Security, and Technology Innovation, while integrating evolving business strategies across EPRI’s core research areas.

Prior to this role, Espinoza served as EPRI’s Chief Generation Officer, leading a global team conducting EPRI research and development related to energy supply – including generation, nuclear, and low-carbon fuels. Previous leadership roles included serving as EPRI’s Vice President of Energy Supply and Low-Carbon Resources and Director of R&D for the institute’s Generation sector.
