Mining Engineer, specializing in Fuels and Energy, from the University of Oviedo.
Postgraduate degree in Business Administration from IESE, University of Navarra (PDD).
She has developed her professional career in various companies and public organizations, where she has held, among others, the following positions:
• Director General of Energy at the CNMC (National Markets and Competition Commission)
• Deputy Director of Natural Gas at the CNMC (National Markets and Competition Commission)
• Deputy Director of Technical and European Regulation Affairs in the Hydrocarbons Directorate of the National Energy Commission
• Head of Area in the Gas Directorate of the National Energy Commission
• Head of Planning and Operations at the ENAGAS Control Center
• Safety Technician at ENUSA
Additionally, she has represented the Commission in the gas working groups of ACER (Association of European Gas Regulators) and CEER (European Gas Regulatory Entities), leading the LNG working group and the Southern European Regional Initiative.
